Maple Apple Crisp
It’s not Fall without apple crisp! This maple apple crisp recipe is a perfect way to use up all those apples picked fresh from the orchard or from the bottom of the grocery store bag. It’s topped with oatmeal, walnuts, brown sugar and plenty of spices. It’s best served warm with your favorite non-dairy ice cream or coconut whipped cream!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread
I’m a little late to the banana bread quarantine party-but I made it! This fun twist on your classic banana bread was requested by my sister who had the wonderful idea to combine three of our favorite flavors; chocolate, peanut butter and banana! These flavors are perfectly and delicately balanced. Not one of them overwhelms the other. This soft, fluffy bread is perfect for dessert with or without an extra spread of peanut butter!
Walnut Taco "Meat"
I know what you’re thinking- walnut "meat" sounds kinda crazy. Don’t be fooled though! This recipe is perfect for making beef-less tacos. After soaking your walnuts for 2-4 hrs in warm water, the walnuts soften to create a perfect meat-like texture. Throw them in a food processor with plenty of taco seasonings, pulse for a few seconds, and viola! You’ve got the perfect filling for your Taco Tuesday dinner!
Apple Cider Donuts
One of my favorite fall activities is apple picking. I love walking through the rows of trees and picking fresh Macintosh apples until my bag is so full and heavy that it feels like my arms might break! That’s usually my queue to eat one.. ya know.. to lighten the load. However, a day of apple picking would not be complete without apple cider donuts! They are the perfect fall treat; perfectly sweet and spiced.
Falafel Burger
This falafel burger is such a fun twist on your staple veggie burger. These burgers are loaded with flavor. They’re packed with fresh herbs and spices like parsley, cilantro, cumin and coriander! I served these fun burgers on a pink beet bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and a tahini-based dressing.
